Fabricator TIG Welding Stainless Steel (Industrial Fuel Equipment)

Position: TIG Fabricator / Boilermaker
Location: Melbourne, Victoria (Day Shift)
Hourly Rate: $55.00 + Super, overtime, and travel allowance ($27 a Day)

Are you an experienced TIG Fabricator or Boilermaker passionate about stainless steel work?

We’re seeking someone to join our client’s workshop team, which specialises in commercial fuel tankers and stainless-steel component fabrication. You’ll work with minimal supervision, turning drawings into precision-built components.

Responsibilities

- Read, interpret, and set out workshop/engineering drawings

- Prioritise and organise your own tasks efficiently

- Perform TIG welding and Arc welding on stainless steel

- Carry out mechanical functions as required

- Work autonomously, maintaining high quality and safety standards

Qualifications

- Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Welding

- Solid experience with TIG welding on stainless steel

- Confined Space Ticket (preferred)

- References from at least two past employers

- Must reside in Melbourne, Victoria

- Valid working rights in Australia
