POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position provides supervision and quality assurance of briefs prepared by the Prosecution Services Division and assists Investigating Officers, prosecutors and solicitors as required.
SPECIALIST PRE-REQUISITE
It is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining and maintaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold and maintain the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance. Any applicants who are currently not an Australian Citizen must be aware that this is an essential requirement to fulfil this position (please refer to the attached position description). Whilst there is nothing to preclude applicants from applying for the position if they have not yet been granted Australian Citizenship, applicants who are successful should be aware that they cannot be appointed unless they are in the process of applying for Australian Citizenship and are eligible to become an Australian Citizen prior to appointment.

- Supervisory skills - Supervising a team to manage workload and deliver a high-quality service. Providing advice and guidance, setting priorities, training and staff development.
- Organisational and planning skills - Planning, organising and coordinating team activities and managing own workload. Allocating team workloads and resources, balancing priorities and meeting timeframes.
- Ability to oversee the quality and integrity of information - Ensuring the quality and integrity of information and ensuring the release of information is in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. Monitoring team consistency in decision making processes.
Applicants are also required to submit a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV). Your CV should provide enough detail (dot points are sufficient) to allow the selection panel to assess your skills, experience and qualifications relevant to the Key Accountabilities of the attached Position Description Form.
The CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant’s ability to satisfy all of the Essential Work Related Requirements. Applicants should nominate at least one immediate (most contemporary) supervisor/manager unless exceptional circumstances exist.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.
