CHRISTWAY COLLEGE – WYNDHAM

Secondary Chemistry Teacher, 2026

The College is currently seeking applicants for a Secondary Chemistry Teacher position for January, 2026. This position is ongoing and can be part-time or full-time, with time fraction negotiable. We welcome and encourage new graduates and experienced teachers to apply.

Salary scale: $80,000-$120,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry to secondary students in line with the College curriculum and standards.
- Deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, provide feedback, and contribute to student welfare and development in a Christian context.
- Collaborate with staff to support student learning, well-being, and community involvement.

Qualifications and Experience

- Qualified teacher with ability to deliver the subject area;
experience in teaching Chemistry would be advantageous.
- Willingness to work within a Christian, values-based environment and to support the College’s mission.
- Pastoral heart for student welfare, community connectivity, and parent partnership;
- Relevant technological skills for teaching and learning.
- Three referees are required, including one church reference demonstrating an active Christian faith.
