Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is looking for a motivated and passionate Dietitian to join our Musculoskeletal Services. In this role, you will become an integral part of our team at the state‑of‑the‑art Wagga Wagga Health Services Hub, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to the community.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to join us in this exciting role working within the MLHD Musculoskeletal Services.

As the Dietitian, you will be responsible for:

- Making significant contribution to the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP) and the Osteoporosis Refracture Prevention Program (ORPP).
- These programs help to provide better valued health care to people living with chronic health conditions.
- You will be providing services face to face, telehealth, and occasionally outreach consultations.
- Provision of comprehensive assessments and care plans for clients in both of the Musculoskeletal programs (ORPP and OACCP).
- Working closely with clients and their carers/families to meet client‑centred goals.
- Develop and evaluate interventions according to patient/client goal and needs, in collaboration with others in the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Involvement in education and in services for staff.
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with clients/patients/family’s/ visitors/other health care workers at all times with awareness, respect and support for cultural diversity in view of assisting them in the adoption of healthy behaviour.
- Depending on successful applicant’s level of experience, you may also be involved in student supervision.

Remuneration: $73,427.00 – $104,753.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualifications in nutrition and dietetics and eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Australia (DA) including Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence‑based practice.
- Knowledge and experience in managing osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
- Willingness to occasionally travel as required
