About the Role

We are seeking a motivated junior-level IT Desktop Support Specialist in the APAC region to join our team and assist with maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure and employees. As an IT Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to employees across Windows and Mac platforms, troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, and supporting IT systems, including Active Directory (AD), Single Sign-On (SSO), Google, and other relevant user management platforms.

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees across Windows and Mac platforms.
  • Assist with computer hardware and software troubleshooting, resolving issues or escalating when necessary.
  • Support IT systems, including Active Directory (AD), Single Sign-On (SSO), Google, and other relevant user management platforms.
  • Manage endpoint devices using tools like Jamf and Desktop Central.
  • Set up and configure user workstations, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and document resolutions within our ticketing system.
  • Assist in maintaining video conferencing systems and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Support printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze support trends to improve IT efficiency.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new employees on IT tools and best practices.
  • Maintain IT documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT-related fields preferred. Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA, Google or Jamf certifications preferred.
  • 1-2 years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • A basic understanding of common networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
  • Exposure to IT security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow.
