Overview

Are you ready to spark your career in the electrical trade? Programmed Apprenticeships and Traineeships, in partnership with Peters Ice Cream, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Electricians in Mulgrave.

This is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals starting their electrical career. While previous experience or a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-Apprenticeship) is highly regarded, it's not essential. If you have a positive attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills, enjoy hands-on learning, and are passionate about becoming a qualified tradesperson, we encourage you to apply.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will

- Work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in electrical work

- Participate in a structured training program combining on-the-job learning with formal education

- Develop skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment

- Contribute to the smooth operation of Peters Ice Cream's Mulgrave facilities, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency

About You

- Passionate about the electrical trade and eager to learn

- A Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship would be highly regarded

- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellence

- Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively

- Ready to take on new challenges and grow with the company

- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

- Committed to attending and completing TAFE blocks as part of the apprenticeship
