Overview
Covenant Christian School is seeking applications from passionate and suitably qualified teachers to join our Secondary School team in 2026. We currently have part-time vacancies in the following subject areas:
- Humanities and English Teacher (HASS and English)
- Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher
These positions are offered on a part-time basis; however, they may be combined with other subject areas as required, depending on the strengths of the applicant and the needs of the school.
Essential Requirements
- A sound profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, supported by active involvement in a Protestant church.
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and current registration (or eligibility) with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or equivalent).
- A commitment to the philosophy of Classical Christian Education and a desire to teach with a biblical worldview.
- Obtain and/or maintain the ACT Working With Vulnerable People card.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Christ-centred team.
Desirable
- Experience teaching across multiple year levels (Years 7–10).
- A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
- Additional teaching areas may be an advantage.
