Job Description

- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++.
- Collaborate and manage cross-functional teams to design efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- Optimise code for performance and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high coding standards.
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in technology to improve software solutions.
- Support the integration of software with existing systems and platforms.

The Successful Applicant

A successful C++ Software Engineer should have:

- Strong experience with C++ programming and software development principles.
- Experience working within the financial space is highly advantageous.
- At least 3 years experience as a lead or manager in a software team
- Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team
