Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin producer with a strong resource base supporting a mine life more than 10 years. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery. We will continue on our improvement journey to challenge the way we work optimising our entire operation. About the role We are seeking an energetic Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing executable maintenance schedules for fixed-plant mechanical and infrastructure assets across both surface and underground operations. These schedules will be developed in close consultation with maintenance execution supervisors, internal stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring full alignment with Bluestone Mines maintenance work management procedures and strict adherence to safety protocols. This position offers a 4-days-on, 3-days-off roster and reports directly to the Planning Superintendent. You will be joining a collaborative team that is committed to supporting one another while maintaining a strong safety-first culture. Core responsibilities - Plan, prioritise and schedule fixed-plant mechanical and infrastructure maintenance in site computerised maintenance management system. - Ensure all work is scoped with safety and production-critical requirements front of mind. - Schedule statutory maintenance in line with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records. - Perform and maintain all master data changes for fixed-plant mechanical and infrastructure areas. - Manage and update plant equipment registers. - Review and improve preventative maintenance programs to drive reliability and efficiency. About You You will hold a relevant trade or engineering qualification, with proven experience in a mining or engineering environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build effective relationships across departments and engage confidently at all levels of the business. You will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
