We are currently seeking expressions of interest for an enthusiastic and skilled self-employed piano tutor, where the successful applicant will enter into contractual arrangements directly with parents. The College will provide access to suitable teaching spaces. The tutor will provide individual or small group lessons to students from Pre-Primary to Year 6.

The role is for approximately 5 hours per week, with flexibility to set your own timetable (any day/time except Thursdays)

We are looking for someone who:

- Is an experienced piano tutor with a passion for teaching young children.
- Has the ability to engage and inspire students in their musical learning.
- Can plan and deliver lessons suited to a range of ages and abilities.
- Is supportive of the College’s Christian ethos and values.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build good professional relationships with students and parents.

Requirements:

- ABN and the capacity to invoice parents directly.
- Relevant qualifications or significant experience in piano teaching.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current National Police Clearance (Issued in the past 3 months).
- An active Christian faith
- The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principal, Child Safe Modules if not already completed.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
