4 days on 4 days off shifts - 5 weeks (190 hours) of annual leave
Great exposure to the Aviation Industry
Competitive salary - from $75,000 to $85,000 - depending on experience
As an Automotive Technician at TCR, you will:
1. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy vehicles, utilizing technical skills and tradesman experience to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
2. Report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.
3. Conduct preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
4. Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
5. Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.
6. Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
7. Have 5 weeks annual leave + 2 additional "Health and Happiness" leave days.
8. Have your uniforms provided and laundered, a competitive salary and an excellent mentorship.
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:
1. Have your own tools.
2. Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
3. Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
4. A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
5. Experience working within procedural guidelines.
6. Good communication skills and proactiveness.
7. A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
→ Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
