Overview

Join ADG’s Property & Commercial business unit as a Senior Finance Business Partner on an 8-month contract based in Cairns. You’ll be the key finance contact for the division, delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support commercial decisions and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for all Property & Commercial accounting and reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and month-end revenue accounting.
- Provide financial and KPI analysis to drive performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead capital expenditure reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support system testing, UAT, and ERP (TechnologyOne) enhancements.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles, engaging closely with key stakeholders.
- Ensure financial accuracy, manage risks, and support audit and compliance processes.

About You

Essential:

- CA, CPA or CIMA qualified (or working towards).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card and pass an AFP check.

Desirable:

- Experience in Property & Commercial or aviation environments.
- Experience with TechnologyOne ERP.
