CatholicCare provides a broad range of programs and services caring for the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities, especially the vulnerable and at risk.

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to deliver a mix of activities for families (including playgroups) to foster healthy child development and positive parent/child relationships in the Bourke Community.

This position is full time and offers a maximum term contract until 26 June 2026. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent. An attractive remuneration package is on offer commensurate with your qualifications and experience.

Skills & Experience:

- Facilitate playgroups and educational programs for parents and children.
- Communicate sensitively with clients in a confidential and culturally appropriate way.
- Understanding of local services in Bourke, that offer support to children and families.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- Attractive hourly rate starting from $39.77 (dependent on experience, skills and qualifications)
- Salary Packaging – package up to $15,900 per year tax free
