Are you a practical problem-solver who takes pride in keeping buildings safe and running smoothly? Levande Fig Tree Community in Murrumba Downs is looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Officer to join our team and help ensure a well-maintained, welcoming environment for our residents.

About the Role

As Maintenance Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our buildings and facilities safe, functional, and in excellent condition. Reporting to the Village Manager, this hands-on role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and building strong relationships with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment
- Respond promptly to urgent repair needs
- Keep accurate records and manage inventory of tools and supplies
- Engage professionally with residents, families, and staff
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety

What We’re Looking For

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Adaptable with strong time-management skills
- Physically fit (able to lift and move up to 15 kg)
- Detail-oriented with a solutions-focused mindset
- A team player aligned with Levande’s values and purpose

Desirable Qualifications

- Experience in property, facility, or building maintenance
- Valid driver’s licence
