DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for manoeuvring vehicles into position for safe and efficient loading and unloading, utilising appropriate lifting and tipping equipment.

- Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols during all operations.

- Conducts regular quality checks on vehicles to confirm they are roadworthy and capable of handling loads safely.

- Estimates and manages weights to comply with legal load limits and ensures proper distribution of weight.

- Takes all necessary measures to securely stow and cover goods, preventing loss or damage during transit.

- Verifies loading documentation, inspects the condition of goods, and obtains certification of deliveries to maintain compliance and accountability.
