Overview

Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A, TM1 & PRIME required.

A central Financial Planning & Analytics team within a major government department is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support a broad portfolio of public sector entities. This contract role is critical to the delivery of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis during a key reporting period. The successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset, and experience in TM1, and PRIME.

Key Responsibilities

- Reviewing long-term budget submissions across multiple departments
- Validating full-year forecasts for the current financial year
- Assessing additional budget requests in TM1, ensuring alignment with business cases and accuracy across financial platforms
- Delivering actionable insights and analysis to support executive decision-making
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet key financial deadlines
- Reconciling and interpreting complex financial statements across multiple systems

Key Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in FP&A roles, ideally within government or large-scale portfolios
- Strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and finance systems
- Proficiency in SAP and TM1 is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Prime and IBM Analytics is required
- Excellent analytical skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities
