We offer an adaptation of the Victorian Curriculum for years 7–10, and the Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major (VCE VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) for years 11–12. The education support worker will support classroom teachers and wellbeing staff members by assisting the implementations of the Berry Street Education Model. You will have a focus on students learning and transition into the program as well as tracking the development of students social and emotional goals. The role will be working 1 on 1 and in small groups. Be passionate about encouraging and supporting disengaged students and those with learning difficulties to reignite their love of learning and have an understanding of the trauma informed Positive Education Model. A demonstrated ability and experience in the effective engagement of young people with complex needs and strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
