The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Treasury Controller to join our Finance team. In this leadership role, you’ll take ownership of King Living’s treasury operations, overseeing cash management, FX risk, compliance, and process optimisation across our global footprint.

Reporting to the Finance Shared Services Manager, you’ll drive operational efficiency while ensuring financial integrity through strong internal controls, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a rare opportunity to bring strategic thinking, leadership, and continuous improvement to a critical part of the business.

The Role

- Lead the Treasury team by providing strategic direction, coaching and daily support across global operations.
- Oversee all treasury functions including cash flow management, FX hedging, bank relationships, and daily transactions across jurisdictions.
- Ensure accurate treasury reporting for management and regulatory bodies, and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and improve treasury accounting controls, ensuring all records are audit-ready.
- Manage global chargebacks, bank guarantees, EFTPOS setups, and credit card controls.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, Retail Operations and IT to ensure integrated business processes.
- Evaluate and implement treasury systems and automation tools to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Support broader finance transformation initiatives and lead treasury’s contribution to strategic projects.

About You

- You bring significant experience in treasury, ideally within a multi-country or retail environment.
- You possess strong financial acumen, with knowledge of FX risk management, accounting standards, and banking processes.
- You’re confident leading teams and providing mentorship to drive performance and accountability.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at juggling priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- You are analytical, process-driven, and comfortable working with ERP systems, banking platforms, and financial reporting tools.
- You have a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, and enjoy working cross-functionally to solve challenges.
- You uphold the highest standards of governance, ethics, and compliance.
