We work across multiple geographies including NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC, SA, and TAS, supporting clients ranging from D&C contractors to utility providers through panel positions and Owners Engineer roles.

The opportunity

As we continue to grow in the water sector, we are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Adelaide team and contribute to our national industrial and water business. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career by helping to lead and develop our local Adelaide team and working on a diverse range of industrial, water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to lead structural designs for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities along with general light and heavy industrial projects. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction phase support.

About you

You’re a degree-qualified civil or structural engineer with 3–7 years’ experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment. You have a solid foundation in structural design, analysis, and documentation, and you’re ready to take on more responsibility and broaden your impact. You’re either a Chartered Professional Engineer or actively working towards chartership. You bring experience across all phases of structural engineering—from feasibility studies and detailed design to analysis and construction support. You’re familiar with Australian standards and have delivered water and wastewater projects locally. Confident in scoping and estimating engineering work packages, you enjoy building client relationships and thrive in collaborative, cross-disciplinary environments. You’re also committed to continuous learning and take pride in mentoring junior engineers.
