About the Organisation

This peak industry body represents the interests of hotels, restaurants, and bars across Queensland. With a proud history and a strong advocacy presence, they support members through training, advisory services, and industry events. As a not-for-profit, their mission is to strengthen the hospitality community and ensure members thrive.

About the Role

As the Membership Officer – Restaurants & Bars, you'll be the first point of contact for members, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and engaged. You'll play a key role in growing the membership base, enhancing retention, and delivering value through events and communications.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary liaison for member inquiries and support
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure members understand their benefits
- Maintain accurate membership records and process renewals
- Develop strategies for member recruitment and retention
- Support the planning and delivery of member events and webinars
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and services
- Represent the organisation at industry events and forums

What You'll Bring

- Experience in membership, customer service, or stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Hospitality or tourism sector experience (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in business, communications, or marketing (desirable)
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
