Electrical Worker Crane Plant Operator

About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Worker – Crane Plant Operator to join the Assets and Operations team based from Port Macquarie.
This role does not require an electrical qualification/trade.
The Electrical Worker – Crane Plant Operator is responsible for a range of activities assisting with the installation, construction, and maintenance of energy distribution, utility, and telecommunication infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Operating vehicles and equipment.
- Delivering resources and providing customer service.
- Ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures and regulations.
- Participating in audits and safety processes.
- Conducting basic in-service testing and inspections.
- Applying safety and environmental training.
About You
You have a strong understanding of safety and environmental requirements and proven experience operating relevant vehicles and equipment. You excel in team environments, possess basic computer skills, and have good written and verbal communication abilities. You are committed to continuous learning and applying safety and environmental standards in all tasks.
You will have a sound mechanical aptitude, with a working knowledge of safe plant and equipment operations across a variety of different types of machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Enterprise Skill Sets at the AQF 2 level or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications.
- Driver's Licence.
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate.
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry, and business-required licenses, authorisations, and other certificates necessary for the role.
