About the role…

This casual position is based in our Breakthru unit, within our Community Supports program in Wallsend, NSW. Your work will support:

1. Accessing the community for shopping, appointments, and daily activities
2. Participation in scheduled activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities, and excursions
3. Engagement in social events
4. Transportation assistance where required
5. Meal preparation and other simple in-home supports

About You…

This opportunity is available immediately and is open to candidates with various levels of experience. You might be someone taking time out from delivering complex services, have personal or family experience of disability you'd like to turn into a career, need extra shifts to supplement your current work, or are just starting out in the disability sector.

We are looking for reliable individuals passionate about community connection, relationship development, and genuinely excited to see others achieve. The role involves being a D&D Dungeon Master, which is the game organizer and participant responsible for creating adventure details and challenges while maintaining continuity.

The casual pay rate ranges from $40.25 to $43.92 per hour, with higher rates for relevant certificates or qualifications with at least 12 months of experience. Saturday shifts attract a 50% loading.

You will be supported by a knowledgeable leadership team, thorough induction, and orientation to deliver excellent services and develop your skills and career.
