About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join a large federal government department’s Data Integration & Engineering team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting ETL processes that enable accurate, timely, and secure data insights across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance and support ETL procedures for data integration and reporting.

- Analyse and resolve production incidents, perform data profiling and impact analysis.

- Design, develop, test and document ETL processes and database components.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality data solutions and improvements.

- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal staff.

About You

You’re a hands‑on Software Engineer who thrives in a data‑focused environment and enjoys problem‑solving across large‑scale, complex systems.

You will bring:

- Proven experience developing and supporting ETL workflows and data pipelines.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms.

- Experience with IBM DataStage or similar ETL tools.

- Familiarity with scripting tools (Perl, SQL, UNIX Shell) and Python.

- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and ITIL frameworks.

- NV1 or Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
