Ready to build the future of secure, seamless access at the LEGO Group? We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to drive our Identity Lifecycle Management strategy, implement modern access control models, and lead the deployment of a scalable policy engine platform supporting our future business requirements.

Join the LEGO® Digital team and have a blast enabling colleagues globally to compose new business values with the latest digital technologies – and have a little fun while doing it

Core Responsibilities.

Our new Lead Engineer will be responsible for designing and delivering robust identity lifecycle solutions that support our security model. Govern the implementation of Role-Based (RBAC), Attribute-Based (ABAC), and Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC) frameworks, and orchestrate the rollout of a Policy Engine platform to enable multifaceted, scalable governance.

The role has the responsibility as the Product Owner for the LEGO Group’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies. This involves advocating for your team and your Product, driving teamwork across the wider Colleague Enablement and Digital Technology landscape.

- Set directions for the product by crafting a product vision, roadmap, defining Objectives and Key Results, and setting clear operational priorities.

- As a member of the Colleague Enablement Leadership Team, advocate for your own product while also strategically aligning and collaborating with your peers to drive the evolution of the experience we collectively deliver for all LEGO Group Colleagues.

- Lead the deployment of an enterprise-grade Policy Engine platform for policy enforcement.

- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements through automated controls and reporting.

- Architect and implement identity lifecycle workflows across joiner/mover/leaver processes.

- Build and govern scalable access models using RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC.

- Drive innovation in self-service access provisioning and adaptive authentication.

- Mentor and guide engineers in secure development principles and IAM standard processes.

- Collaborate multi-functionally with engineering, security, and business teams to align access governance with operational needs.

Play your part in our team succeeding.

Join a dynamic team leading full-stack Identity and Access Control. We support the LEGO Group colleagues with password-less sign-in, adaptive multifactor authentication, and privileged account management, including custom-built APIs for developers. Our mission is to compose a centralized, automated platform for identity, access, and authorization, adopting a Zero Trust security model. Your leadership will be valuable to the team's success.

The team is experienced, diverse and based in the LEGO® Campus headquarters in Billund. The work environment is inclusive, energizing, autonomous, and flexible.

Do you have what it takes?
