Arborist

- Looking for an experienced climbing arborist for varied works.

Kimberley Tree Care is based in Broome and provides professional arborist tree services to commercial, residential and government customers across the Kimberley Region.

We are currently looking for an experienced climbing arborist to work on varied private residential, real estate and governmental works. Full time position.

Arborist/Climber must have proven experience to perform complex tree pruning and removal, and always represent the company in a professional manner. Undertake arboreal landscaping, and manual duties efficiently and effectively whilst adhering to safe work practises and meeting relevant work health legislation and government regulations. Other duties may include being a team leader, quoting and/or consultation.

The successful applicant will be subject to a probation period of up to 8 weeks. Drug and Alcohol testing can be conducted by the employer.

Qualifications & experience

- At least 3 years of proven climbing experience
- LR Truck licence or above
- White card, police clearance or be willing to obtain
- Have availability to travel for work
- Able to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Focus on costumer service

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Tree pruning and removal
- Tree hazard assessment and reporting;
- Operate EWP, Chipper, Chainsaws and Loader
- Stump Grinding;
- Depot, equipment and vehicle maintenance;
