The Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Emergency Medical Officers (PGY4+) to cover solo night shifts in a busy regional Emergency Department. With excellent hourly rates, full travel and accommodation provided, and the chance to take on senior clinical responsibility, this role is ideal for confident doctors seeking to broaden their emergency experience.

- Provide assessment and management of all ED presentations overnight
- Lead resuscitation and emergency procedures as required
- Work confidently with strong nursing support and on‑call consultants
- Apply advanced clinical skills in an independent environment
- Immediate and ongoing locum bookings available

Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain:

- High‑acuity exposure across trauma, paediatrics, resus and acute presentations
- Strengthen leadership, decision‑making and procedural skills
- Valuable experience working autonomously in rural emergency medicine
- Supportive nursing teams and on‑call consultant backup when needed

Eligibility:

- AHPRA General Registration
- Current ALS certification
- Neonatal resuscitation training
- Recent Emergency Department experience
- Confidence working solo overnight with support
