Job Title: Head of Senior School

Description:
Christway College Kingston, an independent Christian co-educational school, seeks a dynamic and passionate individual to lead its senior school as Head of Senior School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary students and promoting academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach senior secondary students and develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values Christian principles and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective curriculum implementation and student assessment.
  • Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the college's mission and values.

Requirements:
  • A qualified teacher with current registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • A strong Christian faith and active church membership/involvement.
  • Experience in teaching VCE senior subjects and overseeing curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A willingness to grow and develop as a teacher through reflection and professional learning opportunities.
