Initially the position will be focused on dispatch tasks, with the ability to take on more responsibility as your confidence grows. With a widely varied job role, you will utilise your experience and customer service skills to provide support to our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispatch: assist the team with stock control and liaise with customers to ensure products are ready for pick up or transport in a timely manner.
- Customer service: assist our customers in selecting products and provide advice on product-related projects.
- Sales: develop and maintain relationships with our trade and retail customers both locally and regionally, ensuring that their orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Health & safety: adhere to our critical safety rules and contribute to a safe working environment.
ABOUT YOU
- Current, valid driver’s licence is essential
- Forklift licence is required, or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, self-starter
- Positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn
- Clear and confident communicator with an understanding of how to provide excellent customer service
- A careful approach with clear attention to detail
- Numeral literacy and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Willing to undertake regional travel when required
- Physically fit with the ability to, at times, lift up to 20kg repetitively in an outdoor environment
