Norwest Private Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their in-house physiotherapy department on a casual basis to cover weekend shifts.

This position is classified as Physiotherapist Level 1/2 (dependent upon years of experience).

Responsibilities

- Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
- Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital

Selection Criteria

- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration – Physiotherapist
- Experience across a range of acute services; including ICU, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery
- Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Skills and experience working in multidisciplinary acute care hospital
- A minimum of one year’s experience
