A bit about the role:
The role of a Trainee is interesting and varied and provides a great foundation to business processes and experience in many areas of how a local council operates. A core part of this role is to prepare, collate, record and maintain information relating to council business and support our Asset Delivery and Projects team to deliver their outcomes.
In a trainee, we look for:
- Good communication skills
- Someone who enjoys working on a computer
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- Team player
What you can learn:
- Assist in the preparation of documents, tracking and reporting
- Create, input and retrieve data using MS Office to support in delivery of projects
- Update and maintain databases
- Assist in coordination of outdoor and indoor teams
About the role
A Trainee Administration Officer is full time employment for one (1) year, and the proposed study will be a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Fixed term: 76-hour fortnight (Term Contract - 1 year)
Salary: Based on the Local Government Award + 12% super
