Job Description

This role focuses on administrative tasks including data entry, data analysis, research, and coordination tasks as well as understanding relationship management to support grant-making and partnerships. You will work in a matrix environment across a range of topic areas, supporting various teams, based on your skills, interests and the organisation's current priorities. The role contributes to the effective delivery of PRF’s work and strategy by supporting decision-making systems and processes and communication with partners, to strengthen conditions that provide opportunities for all people and communities to thrive

Responsibilities:

Works in project-based teams across the organisation to:

- Conduct research and data analysis to inform decisions about potential areas of investment and specific partnerships, based on building an understanding of relevant sector trends and landscapes.
- Conduct due diligence on impactful grants based on research, and help prepare high quality materials for Executive and Board decisions, including presentations and briefings for investment decisions.
- Support and lead the management of partnerships from establishment through close by providing administrative and relationship support, ensuring partner delivery aligns with PRF’s goals and focus on learning and impact.
- Maintain and update the PRF Grant Management System (Giving Data), ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Support the coordination and delivery of partner collaboration events, meetings, and workshops.
- Support internal learning and continuous improvement by understanding key end-to-end grant processes and developing and sharing practice that enhances our impact.
- Supports end-to-end delivery of learning and evaluation ensuring alignment with PRF's Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MERL) approaches.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience in strategic problem-solving, data entry, and data analysis.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for advanced administrative processes.
- Excellent organisation, sound judgement, and proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Proven relationship‑building skills and ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
- Ability to engage effectively and respectfully with communities and beneficiaries, demonstrating cultural understanding.
- Lived or professional experience in areas related to the Foundation’s focus.
- Experience working with policymakers, experts, or technical specialists.
- Background in community engagement, non‑profits, or social programs.
- Understanding of the philanthropic and social impact sectors, or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of systems thinking, funding models, social impact strategy, or experience in grants/program management.
