The Distinction Dental Lab, is part of The Dental Group—which includes The Sydney Implant Institute, The Dental Lounge, and Dental 99—is seeking a talented Dental Technician with expertise in CAD dental design. Our new, state-of-the-art facility features advanced milling machines, 3D printers, and the latest technology, enabling us to produce high-quality restorations entirely in-house.

Your Role

- Creating and designing digital dental restorations using CAD software.
- Producing a variety of dental products, including surgical guides, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Collaborating with clinicians to understand their requirements and ensure optimal results.
- Performing wax-up procedures and detailed finishing work on restorations.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work done.
- Adhering to health, safety, and quality regulations at all times.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Technician with a strong focus on CAD design.
- 2+ years experience in ExoCAD or a similar system.
- Ability to design and modify dental restorations, ranging from single crowns to full arch solutions.
- Knowledge of implant dentistry, particularly All-on-X and abutment design.
- Experience with anterior pressed restorations and high aesthetic requirements.
- Strong manual dexterity and experience with monolithic zirconia.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists and the dental team.
