About the Role
As a Retail Assistant at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:
- Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Processing purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Replenishing stock, merchandise displays, and ensuring the store is clean and well presented.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and offering recommendations.
The Successful Candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is great to have, but not a must - we’re happy to train the right person
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Must be available to work 1 weekend shift per week with early morning starts or late evening finish throughout the week.
