Facade Drafter

The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a skilled contract Façade Drafter to support our upcoming project demands. This role involves producing precise shop drawings and fabrication documentation for a variety of façade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and bespoke assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:

- Create detailed façade shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation layouts
- Interpret architectural and structural documentation to develop compliant façade systems
- Coordinate with internal engineers, project managers, and external consultants
- Ensure documentation complies with project specifications and Australian standards
- Contribute to 3D modelling or BIM workflows where applicable

What You Bring:

- Qualification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in façade drafting or similar
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, Rhino, or SolidWorks experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of curtain wall systems, cladding, and glazing details
- Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Australian building codes and construction standards
