Overview

Salary $93,020 to $93,997 + superannuation + Income Protection + 9-day fortnight

Join our Stormwater Maintenance Team

Play a key role in maintaining and improving Gawler’s stormwater infrastructure. Your work will help ensure effective water flow management while reducing environmental impacts for our community.

Responsibilities

- Provide supervision, support, and direction to the team on day-to-day activities.

- Work closely with the Team Leader and Leading Workers to program projects and activities in line with other workgroups schedules and business plan objectives.

- Assist with scheduling and resourcing for daily maintenance programs and projects.

- Ensure all works are delivered to design standards, regulations, and codes of practice, applying corrective strategies where required.

- Supervise contractors and resolve contractor enquiries as needed.

- Keep the Team Leader informed of work progress and emerging issues.

- Actively participate in hands-on operational work in line with multifunctional Award provisions.

About You

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to the community.

You will bring:

- Experience in civil maintenance, drainage, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of stormwater systems and their environmental importance.

- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- A current MR Driver’s Licence.

- Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation.

- White Card and relevant safety training (desirable).
