About ACC Marsden Park

ACC Marsden Park is a K-12, co-educational Christian school located in Sydney’s North West corridor, in a semi-rural setting experiencing growth and development. The school has over 1300 on-campus students and 700+ distance learners, with a strategic plan for future expansion.

Our Culture

Our College-Wide Teaching and Learning framework is based on three “Signature Pedagogies”: Explicit Direct Instruction, Specific Targeted Feedback, and Thinking Through Writing. These pedagogies are informed by Cognitive Load Theory and influenced by experts like Hollingsworth, Ybarra, Lemov, Hochman, and Wexler, as well as Michaela Community School in London.

About you and the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Learning Enrichment Teacher Aide (Maternity Leave Cover until the end of 2025), to start as soon as possible. The role involves supporting the Learning Enrichment Team by:

1. Assisting in delivering evidence-based intervention programs, including MultiLit and other literacy and numeracy support initiatives, working closely with students to improve foundational skills and meet academic milestones.
2. Working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives and ensure understanding of key concepts, while supporting classroom teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment.
3. Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies that address individual student needs, including differentiation and inclusive practices.
4. Communicating regularly with teachers and the Head of Learning Enrichment K-12 regarding student progress and intervention adjustments, and participating in team meetings to share best practices.
5. Providing direct learning support across all grade levels (K-12), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges through targeted strategies.
6. Supporting students in developing positive behaviors, self-regulation, and emotional resilience, including in online learning contexts.
7. Participating in the collection of the Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
