The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced HC Drivers for a 2-year project supporting one of our valued clients at a solar farm in Merriwa, NSW. This role offers the unique opportunity to work and live on-site, with accommodation and meals provided, competitive hourly rates, penalty rates, and plenty of overtime available.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables

- Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles

- Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork

- Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery

- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations

- Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work environment

- Building strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience driving HC vehicles, including Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations

- Waste management experience (advantageous but not essential)

- Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance

- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management

- Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player

- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach

- A positive, respectful, and safety-focused attitude
