Team Leader, Family Relationship and Wellbeing Services

- 75 hours per fortnight, continuing position.

About the role

The position has leadership and operational responsibility across portfolio activities to ensure quality service provision. The position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring caseloads, including providing support, guidance and supervision to staff to ensure positive outcomes. The position may be required to carry an active caseload.

The Team Leader position has current portfolio responsibility for the following activities:

- Family and Relationship Services (FaRS)

- Family Law Counselling (FLC)

- Family Mental Health Support Service (FMHSS)

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

- Managing a varied client caseload through both supervision of staff and personal direct service delivery including managing a waiting list/active hold where required.

- Reporting monthly to the Manager, Family Relationship and Wellbeing Services on progress against targets, objectives, deliverables and expenditure against budgets

- Undertaking and completing all reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner

- Participating in the formation of programs and work practices

To be considered for this position, applicants require:

- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or Community Development or similar related discipline

- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of health, social or community services

- Demonstrated experience in providing professional supervision to client-facing staff in the delivery of human services programs
