genU Training is looking for a purpose-driven and adaptable Sessional Trainer - Mental Health to open doors through online education. As a trainer you'll share your skills, inspire learners and make a real impact across the state.

genU Training is a division of genU that delivers valuable, job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. We advocate for expanded education and training options to people who live with a disability, are long-term unemployed and those most vulnerable in the community.

What you’ll do

As a Sessional Trainer at genU Training, you will deliver courses and give learners the chance to take a small step that leads to big opportunities - helping them become job-ready, grow their confidence and achieve lasting change. In this role, you will:

- Engage with diverse cohorts and deliver dynamic, online Mental Health training sessions.

- Assist with the development of assessment tools and strategies.

- Contribute your unique experience, skills and insight to make a broad impact.

- Collaborate with the genU Training team to share ideas, support each other and keep improving what we do.

What you’ll bring

- You’re a qualified trainer (TAE40116 or equivalent) who loves helping others succeed.

- Industry experience or qualifications in mental health.

- Thoughtful communication with great people skills, organisation and initiative.

- Comfortable with tech and able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently in a primarily online capacity.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.
