We are seeking a general practitioner to provide competent and compassionate primary care services to patients of our privately owned General Practice.

Our rural community would love to welcome new doctors. Taree and Harrington NSW have a wide range of pre-schools, public and private schools as well as a campus for universities. We have clubs catering for most sports including rowing and sailing. Regionally, the strength of the Arts is reflected in the Manning Entertainment Centre and Art Gallery. Our community has established historical museums, service clubs, choirs, orchestra and a ParkRun.
Our local private and public hospitals and clinics support a growing network of culturally diverse professionals.
Our privately owned accredited two-site General Practice has twelve doctors and full-time nursing support. Both sites have been purpose-built with the Taree rooms being recently renovated with the assistance of an interior designer, creating a warm & pleasant environment for the patients and staff. While we prefer GPs eligible for AHPRA's Expedited Specialist Pathway, we can provide training and support to those working towards their Fellowship. We are offering competitive salaries and benefits to attract the best talent.
Weekly training sessions are provided by our registrar supervisors. Our doctors meet monthly for breakfast at a local café to discuss clinical problems, journal articles, or for peer support. On-call is usually very quiet with doctors rostered on one weekend every two months and two week nights per month.
We enjoy close academic and research collaboration with the University of Newcastle and the Pain Management Research Institute of the University of Sydney.
During the pandemic, our practice was one of 143 practices selected across the country to provide a Commonwealth swabbing and vaccination clinic. These rooms have now been re-purposed for Allied Health Providers and multi-disciplinary care. Currently three physiotherapists, a social worker, and an audiologist are working part-time with us.
