The Cannery Arts Centre is looking to welcome volunteer exhibition sitters to watch over the gallery during weekends when there is an exhibition.Timeslots available: 10am - 12noon & 12noon - 2pm
The Gallery Sitter will greet visitors, ensure that the attendance tally is kept accurate, note details of artwork or merchandise sales (where relevant) and in some cases ensure that visitors are aware of any entrance fees.
The 10am shift opens the gallery and the 12noon shift closes the gallery.

Centrelink Volunteers , Groups of 10 or more , People with disability , Travelling Volunteers
Commitment
Regular - less than 6 months
Time required
When exhibitions are on. Usually for 2 hour time slots.
Requirements
Having an interest in the arts is preferred.
