Your Role

- Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks for children
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked kitchen
- Order supplies and manage inventory
- Work closely with educators to meet children’s dietary requirements
- Support the centre’s mealtime routines and assist where needed
- Continue learning about nutrition for different age groups, particularly infants

Role Details

- Days: 5 days per week preferred
- Hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm OR 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Training: Full support and training provided by our Head Chef and opportunities to shadow other centre chefs.

About You

You're passionate about creating food with purpose and care.

You have:

- Commercial Food Safety Handling Certificate
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
- A practical understanding of food budgeting and planning
- Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)
- A commitment to supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing through food
- Strong time management skills
