About Monash Doctors

To help grow your career, there are more than 1,900 Junior and 1,700 Senior Doctors at Monash Health in over 200 medical specialties. We offer unparallel opportunities in Victoria's largest & most clinically diverse teaching health service.

About the Opportunity 

We are seeking applications from junior doctors who can commence ASAP until October 2025.

You must either hold General, Provisional or Limited registration (min supervision level 2) to be eligible to apply.

Contract lengths will vary, but can be negotiated for a duration of up to 2 years.

The General Stream incorporates a large variety of rotations, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics and many other Medical Specialty & Surgical rotations. You can access Paediatric rotations in a ward setting, in the Paediatric Emergency or in either of our other two emergency departments – both accredited for Paediatrics for GP training.

Our dedicated General Stream Manager advocates and supports our Junior Doctors who in turn deliver exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients. About You

What you need: 

- Primary Medical Degree - MBBS   

- Previous experience and completion of Internship   

- Current Drivers Licence 

- Australian working rights. 

- Must be able to commence prior to October 2025

- Hold with General, Limited or Provisional AHPRA Medical Registration   

- Applicants must meet a minimum AHPRA Supervision Level of 2 to be considered for this role

- Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check
