The role will include working with children ages 3-16 and families in outdoor nature based activities all around the Perth Metro area. The activities could range from the beach, to swamps, to the bush and may involve craft, bush walks, animal encounters and games.
You will be asked to welcome and check in participants, help set up for the activity, assist the presenter in the smooth running of the activity and pack up. There may be the occasional promotional event or prop development day as well. These activities are run during the school holidays with very limited volunteering opportunities throughout the school terms.

Training
Induction once per month. Training is conducted in Mundaring.
Time required
The time may vary as the program and timetable are put together

Requirements
- National Police Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Working with Children’s Check- Moderate level of fitness- Willing to work as a team- Good people skillsPLEASE NOTE all volunteers must come up to the Perth Hills Discovery Centre for an induction and to register. These group inductions are held once a month as required, the date will be provided once you have been in touch with our contact.
