MRAEL are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team at Trans Vent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and industry recognised training in a high-demand industry.

Trans Vent is dedicated to manufacturing and fabricating spiral tubing and ducting for HVAC and construction projects. They pride themselves on quality, reliability, and service, offering in-house manufacturing and design assistance for a wide range of spiral tubing and piping projects.

About the position:

As a Sheetmetal Apprentice you will assist in the manufacturing of air conditioning fittings from light gauge metal and some welding.

- Assist in the production, manufacture and repair of a range of light metal products
- Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools
- Learn correct safety practices
- Support experienced sheet metal workers on various projects.

What we are looking for:

- A strong willingness to learn with a passion and genuine interest for the industry
- Hardworking and reliable
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Safety conscious and ability to work effectively in a team
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport

Work Type:

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday -Thursday, 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm) - Overtime available at times.
