About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Dispensary Technician to join our team at United Chemists Essington Lewis in Whyalla In this role you will be responsible for the processing of prescriptions together with stock control, dispensary administration and the provision of exceptional customer care that develops positive relationships with customers.

About You

For this role experience is the key. You must:

- be able to dispense scripts quickly, correctly and efficiently

- be prepared to learn our dispensing techniques and to blend those with your own talents

- have a complete knowledge of the workings of the PBS.

To be successful in applying for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following:

- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy and/or Dispensary Technician qualifications

- Previous experience working as a Dispensary Technician (highly regarded)

- Strong Pharmacy product knowledge including S2/S3 medications

- Excellent computer skills

- POS and dispense program knowledge (Dispense Works ideal)

- Exceptional customer service skills- you will surprise and delight our customers every day.

- Reliable and enthusiastic work ethic

- Adaptability and willingness to work as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

- A warm, approachable and empathetic nature

- Ability to show initiative and work with limited supervision
