Job Description:

- Uphold and promote adherence to health and safety regulations on all worksites.
- Lead in-depth forensic assessments of buildings and civil structures.
- Produce thorough, solution-focused forensic reports with clear recommendations.
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior forensic engineers.
- Support internal operations, including staff training, quality assurance, and resource planning.
- Play an active role in meeting company growth targets and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and reliable service.
- Keep project documentation current and organized within internal systems.
- Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to grow client networks.
- Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and comply with procedures.
- Administer contract-related tasks such as processing variations, progress claims, and approvals.
- Take initiative in resolving client concerns and applying corrective measures promptly.
- Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives by promoting services and identifying new opportunities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus), with RPEQ and NPER accreditation.
- Proven experience in structural design and forensic analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial projects up to $20M.
- Strong capability in assessing and diagnosing structural damage in various types of buildings.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software across a range of platforms.
- Exceptional technical report-writing skills with a focus on clarity and actionable insights.
- Confident verbal communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients and team members.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring junior engineers and providing technical oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables effectively.
- Experience maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across multiple projects.
- Proven ability to foster and manage strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Involvement in business development, including identifying new opportunities and supporting marketing efforts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a client-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Flexible and composed under pressure, able to adapt to different environments and challenges.
- Self-driven with a collaborative spirit, able to align team efforts with company goals.
- Strong commitment to technical excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
