SAP Source to Pay Process Consultant

Your role and responsibilities

As a managing consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and be a trusted business advisor with deep understanding of SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent and associated work products. You will lead design workshops, support business development activities and mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge. There are opportunities for you to acquire new skills, work across different disciplines, take on new challenges, and develop a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

SAP Process Consultant :

We are seeking an experienced Source to Pay (Process) SME to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive business process knowledge across the end-to-end procure-to-pay value chain for direct and indirect procurement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA and Ariba, as well as experience with Maximo integration and Fieldglass. Industry experience in Refineries is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a subject matter expert for source-to-pay processes, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including process maps, procedures, and work instructions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging industry best practices and technology advancements
- Provide expertise in SAP S4 HANA and Ariba, including configuration, testing, and training
- Support the integration of Maximo and Fieldglass with SAP S4 HANA and Ariba
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs, utilizing SAP S4 HANA and Ariba functionality
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, focusing on source-to-pay processes and system functionality
- Participate in project teams to implement new processes and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve source-to-pay processes and systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvements, and develop business cases to support these initiatives

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in source-to-pay process management, with a focus on direct and indirect procurement
- Hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA and Ariba, including configuration, testing, and training
- Strong business process knowledge across the end-to-end procure-to-pay value chain
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Preferred technical and professional experience

Preferred:

- Experience with Maximo integration and Fieldglass is preferred
- Industry experience in Refineries is preferred
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Certification in SAP S4 HANA or Ariba
- Experience with cloud-based procurement platforms and solutions
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as OSHA or EPA regulation
