About the Role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing
- Specimen storage and retrieval
- Equipment maintenance and operation
- Maintenance of records
- Assist with stock control
- Maintain confidentiality of customer
About You

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skill including:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent Associate degree
- An understanding of urine drug testing to AS/NZS 4308:2023 and oral fluid testing to AS/NZS 4760:2019
- Experience in a Pathology Laboratory, particularly within a Toxicology or Biochemistry Department
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures
- Previous Pathology Laboratory experience is desirable, but not essential
