We are seeking a passionate and skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist to join our team, working exclusively with Australian Defence Force veterans. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting veterans who have sustained injury, illness, or trauma.

Your Role

- Use your clinical expertise and reasoning to support veterans in achieving rehabilitation goals and readiness for civilian life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical specialists, treatment providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery and return to function.
- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored rehabilitation plans for clients, becoming a portfolio expert.
- Perform a variety of assessments and services including Vocational Assessments, Job Readiness, Initial Needs Assessments and Vocational Counselling.
- Work flexibly across Acumen offices and from home.

What You’ll Bring

- Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ASORC).
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (Fully registered or Provisional Psychologists with external supervision).
- Strong clinical reasoning and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A genuine passion for helping people rehabilitate and thrive.
- Occupational rehabilitation experience is essential.
- Experience working with Military, Veteran or Emergency Services clients (or similar cohorts) is highly desirable.
